Special Note: No cameras nor cell phone cameras are permitted during photo session. RPD may cancel on-site if customer persists in taking pictures during shoot. Please be respectful of our photographers.
Sales Policy: The offer of a FREE 8"x10" print is included with a purchase of $50.00 or more.
There are NO sitting fees when customer confirms photography session at our location for a small group. Please review the sitting fee policy below. There are no refunds as client signs waiver upon order.
Review processing policy below for details regarding quality control. Credit cards or cash accepted. If the order is under $100.00 payment must be in cash. 10% SC sales tax and MB Chamber of Commerce sales tax as of August 1st 2009. $10.00 shipping/handling for photo packages and cds. $20.00 shipping/handling for storybooks and memoirs.
Viewing Policy: Depending upon time frame between sessions, client may immediately be able to view downloaded images in our studio, place order and pay in full, otherwise, RPD's photographer will schedule a viewing for the following day when convenient for both photographer and client. Client will not be able to view images on-line. RPD recommends client to view asap while convenient for both photographer and client. Viewing images should only take l5-30 minutes depending on size of group (usually only 15 minutes for a group of 10 or less). Please be aware of the fact that photographer may have another photo session immediately following your session. Please be considerate of RPD's schedule. If client is demanding more than given time to decide on package or prints to order and refuses to leave when politely notified of time that is available to decide, then RPD will offer cd only as a purchase with no prints as time is of the essence and there is another client awaiting their session unless your session is the last of the day (7:30-8pm). We appreciate our client's respect and understanding of our
service and small business.
Deposit Policy (morning/special time requests): A deposit of $50.00 prior to requested AM session is required. Special morning shoots can be scheduled from 6:30am-10am Daily. Deposit is applied to your purchase.
Sitting Fee Policy: There is a $200.00 sitting fee due upon confirmation of scheduled photo session for large groups, special requests and events. In addition, if session is requested at another location other than photographer's choice of location, the sitting fee is required. NOTE: The sitting fee is in addition to any purchase under $1,000.00. The sitting fee is 'applied' to any purchase OVER $1,000.00.
Large groups and events include 10-50 individuals. Special requests include planned out photo sessions such as a reenactment of marriage proposal, paparazzi-style shoot, requests to copy certain
layouts in magazines and/or any reenactment scenes from a movie or music video. If weather is not permitting for on-location session, RPD will try to reschedule.
The sitting fee will be 100% refunded if RPD cannot reschedule. If customer must cancel session, they must do so at least a week in advance, otherwise, the sitting fee will not be refunded. Processing Policy: Retouching and edits are offered FREE of charge on prints ordered or images imported in the storybook. Where necessary and possible, edits consist of retouching for the enhancement of image; adjusting contrast, deletion of undesirable objects where possible (such as people in the background, garbage cans, towel, humidity spots; water spots); cropping where necessary; converting to black and white; modification of lightness, darkness/saturation in image; removal of fly-away hair if necessary. We do not photoshop shadows out nor do we handle complete retouching, removal of facial imperfections or replacing parts of one image with another. Images are printed as viewed on screen for the exception of such edits mentioned. PhotoshopCS3 /Photoshop7/PhotoshopElements8 are utilized. Images are saved as high resolution jpeg or tiff documents.
RPD utilizes a professional printing studio for all prints, be it canvas, matte, lustre, glossy. Please be sure to advise RPD as to how you prefer your prints upon order.
There are many print examples hanging in the RPD studio for customer to view for quality purposes. Prints that are appoximate in size due to cropping and editing process may be printed off slightly larger or smaller than size ordered on order sheet depending on how the image was shot. In order for a print to fit a certain frame, customer may have to trim down print and/or have matted or possibly have their print custom framed professionally. We apologize for any inconvenience as RPD does not offer framing and/or matting packages.
RPD produces exceptional prints and always wishes to produce their best work possible with editing and printing client packages as we aim towards our customers returning year after year!
. Scheduling Policy: Customer must contact RPD to schedule and confirm photo session as there are NO walk-in's accepted. The initial appointment will be confirmed via email or over the phone. RPD or customer will re-confirm photo session 48 hours + prior to the date and time of the shoot. Be sure to give us your contact information (cell number and name of resort with room number preferred) while in Myrtle Beach. If RPD does not hear final confirmation within the 48 + hours prior to session, the session may be changed or cancelled due to scheduling. RPD will contact customer with any time changes.
Order Policy: Placement of all orders are confirmed and paid for in full at viewing which can be either immediately following session or the next day when conveniently scheduled for both client and photographer. There are no on-line images to view or order from after photo session. All orders will be forwarded via priority mail to client's home address or employment address. Due to heavy volume of orders during the busy spring/summer season the client will not be able to pick-up order prior to departure from Myrtle Beach. Delivery of your photo package ordered may take anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on volume of orders as RPD edits and sends to photo studio print. During the fall/winter season, depending on volume of orders, there is the possibility of customer picking up order prior to departure. Storybooks may take up to 4-8 weeks to process and deliver. $10.00 S&H for photo packages; $20.00 S&H for storybooks.
Return Policy: There are no refunds. Client signs a waiver upon time of order of agreement. Please accept the FREE 8"x10" print as a GIFT as it cannot be returned nor reprinted. Only upon receipt and careful review of any prints in question that were part of your order and package, with written details of issue, will RPD reprint and return prints ordered. Examples of prints and books can be viewed in our office for quality purposes.
Office Policy: If studio is closed, the photographer is either on a shoot, working out of their second location or out of the office.
Please call us to schedule an appointment and be sure to leave a detailed and clear message consisting of your full name, your location, contact information, date and time in which you are requesting shoot and
how long you will be in Myrtle Beach. It is at RPD's discretion as to when office is open or closed depending on the weekly schedule as RPD also has numerous assignments out of town and may be traveling. Late Policy: Please be prompt upon your scheduled photo session. Customer must contact us asap to reschedule if they cannot be on time. The scheduled shoot may be automatically cancelled within 10 minutes of scheduled appointment if RPD does not hear from customer. It is RPD's decision as to if there is sufficient time for the shoot and whether or not to cancel.
Cancellation Policy: Due to bad weather conditions which include extra wind, rain, drizzle, thunder, lightening, frost and/or fog, photo shoots will be
cancelled and rescheduled if possible. RPD makes the decision to cancel shoot. If there is thunder or lightening seen or heard even in the far off distance, the shoot is AUTOMATICALLY cancelled as it is unsafe to be on the beach at that time. In addition, if a confirmed customer is late with understandable reasons (ex; traffic, accident, etc.) and has contacted photographer prior to appointment, the shoot immediately following could be cancelled and rescheduled as the first shoot is priority. Any cancellation is solely at our discretion and customer should understand our cancellation policy prior to shoot. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Re-shoot Policy: There are no re-shoots unless an unusual storm occurs during the original shoot which immediately cancels out.
Any session that is requested for a second time is at the photographer's discretion depending on availability and details concerning purpose.
